Every number on the screen says what it is for
The Hedgicore screen is full of numbers you would need a textbook to read. Each one carries a plain explanation written for a trader, and the statistic keeps its own name so you can check it.
A trader should not have to learn statistics to read a trading screen.
Ours is full of numbers you would need a textbook to read.
So every one of them carries a plain explanation, written for a trader.
The screen lists pairs of related crypto assets and ranks them. Each pair carries ten measurements, and most of the headings are a statistic's name, shortened to fit. Rest on one and the full name comes up, with a sentence in ordinary words underneath it.
Seven of those sentences also give the number a nickname.
The Rubber Band tells you whether two prices are tied together by a piece of string.
The Power Balance is how much of one asset you hold for every unit of the other, so the position stays balanced.
The Trend Detector says whether a pair keeps going one way or bounces back and forth.
The Signal Checker asks whether the pattern is a real one or just luck.
The statistic keeps its own name, so you can go and check it. The sentence underneath is there for the trader who never learned it and still has to read the screen.
A number you cannot read is not information. If a tool cannot say in one sentence what a number is for, it was written for the person who built it.
That screen is part of a private beta. If you want to sit in front of it, the waitlist is at hedgicore.com.
